I had a canon 350D converted to a 665nm IR filter and I believe you guys set the custome white balance to 18% Grey.
A great service, I arrived early in the morning and yo9u let me sleep the effects of my drive off, I then left my camera with you and you'd done the conversion within 2 hours. It was worth every penny of the £230 it cost. Most other camera conversion vendors offer a service that is far inferior, the worst offered a 14 week turnaround by post only.

I hope to use your services again in the near future. Thanks very much. (Ishall send a couple of my images to you for your gallery when I get the chance to be at home!).

I have been dealing with Protech now for a couple or three Years, after giving -up trying to deal with the Pentax service dept who I found to be totally useless, wheras this compay I have to say are without doubt the very best people you could ever wish to deal with. Any problem or repair I have asked of them has been sorted -out always in a very proffesional and helpful way. I would certainly give this company my very highest recommendation, you will not find better anywhere and hope to be dealing with Kelvin and Jo again and again

My Canon A80 Sureshot went wrong whilst on holiday in Tenerife, with horizontal lines flashing across the screen. On return I took it back to the Canon agent I had bought it from and was told it was beyond economic repair. Their solution was a new G11, as the only Canon compact with an optical viewfinder and moveable screen. I then heard about Protech from a friend; as soon as I described the fault they recognised it as being due to a faulty chip, which was covered by guarantee (despite it being over 5 years old). They returned the camera for me, and within 2 weeks I had it back, with only a modest handling charge to pay. I cannot speak highly enough of their service.

Jo and Kalvin have repaired many lenses and cameras for me and have always provided an excellent and fast service. I have a few more lenses requiring repair and I wouldn't dream of sending them to Canon. Only Protech will do. Regards, Paul Fletcher

A few days before Christmas I "bounced" my Nikon D300. I was going away soon after the holiday so I needed to get it checked out. I 'phoned Protech and they told me to bring it the next day.
It was given a thorough check and prononced fit and well! No charge was requested and my mind put at rest.
What great service and what lovely, friendly people.
Thank you very much.
Best wishes for 2010 and good luck in the new premises.

I decided to have a bash at digital infrared and I chose Protech to convert my Nikon D70s - brilliant, so much so that I was fortunate to have infrared work published in Amateur Photographer & What Digital Camera. Thanks Protech I couldn't have done it without you. Mike
