Another busy month for infrared conversions - probably helped by our advert in Digital SLR Photography and of course by word of mouth - thank you to all our customers who have recommended us!

Not quite sure where October went!  Very busy with conversions and now heading up to Christmas we expect more of the same.  We are happy to convert for Christmas presents so if you want to start dropping hints remember to say what type of filter you really like too!

Still thinking of presents, now is the time to get those old photos copied/restored for a thoughful gift.  Advice is freely given so contact either ourselves or go to the Restoration Link to contact The Photo Fixing People!

Been painting the buidling - looking great but work still ongoing for perfection!

Studio being used more now so remember to book early!

Summer's here and we are very busy.  Lots of Infrared Conversions as well as repairs - all customers very welcome as always!

Please take a look at our Gallery - these show the possible effects from different filters.  If you have any questions we are happy to speak to you and explain the differences.  We currently fit four types and in laymans terms:

590nm - Garish colours can be easily produced.

665nm - Colour obtained - Black & White not as contrasty. 

720nm - Mainly used for Black & White with some colour possible - the most common filter we fit.

830nm - Good for contrast, Black & White mainly - not much of any colour.

Of course there is more to it than this but hope this helps!

Where has the sunshine gone?  Hopefully it will return soon so our many customers can get to work with their newly converted cameras.  720nm seems to be flavour of the month at the moment.  Please do get in touch if you would like to chat with the Technician if you are not sure whether to take the plunge - you will be glad you did!

Kelvin is having another operation on Wednesday to remove the pins from his ankle.  Please call before making any journeys but we do expect to be up and running still!  The Studio is coming on really well and we hope to move a product table in soon so do remember us if you need to hire a studio.

Hello All,

Many thanks for your kind wishes and support since Kelvin broke his leg on holiday.  The second operation went well we believe and he is now at home (bored!!!).  We hope to be back in the office next week but it may be worth a phone call first so we can let you know if he will be around or at one of his many hospital appointments.  Thank you all for bearing with us at this difficult time.
